ABOUT US

Welcome to Apples and Chalkboards! After teaching for twelve years I have become a firm believer in working as a team to do what is best for children. I have an obsession with classroom design (I rearrange my furniture a lot!), organization, and themes. Every year, it seems that we have to recreate the wheel when planning lessons, so hopefully, organizing lessons and materials on this site will make that easier for everyone. My hope is that this blog will be a place where we can all share great ideas on lessons, classroom organization, and tips to help our classrooms run easily.
